Mackenzie Country

Rosemary Campbell is a full time professional artist living in Tekapo, South Canterbury, New Zealand. She has an established international reputation and was awarded a Post Graduate Queen Elizabeth II Arts Council Scholarship to Ecole des Beaux Arts in Grenoble, France where she spent time studying her art.

Rosemary's art, a symphony of colour, graces the walls of galleries and homes through Europe and Australasia. Portraits, paintings and etchings have recently been sold in Hong Kong.

She has exhibited in Melbourne, Hong Kong, London and extensively in New Zealand.

Rosemary uses oils, acrylics, watercolours, and pastels in her paintings. If you would like a portrait painting of yourself, or your children, then a private sitting can be made by arrangement.

For me, colour is the most powerful visual element.

Music is an important part of my life and is an unconscious and constant stimulus and trigger.

Many of my images have their derivation from the Mackenzie basin.
